The Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program is a business that provides opportunities for young people to explore and challenge what they want to do. It is not a program for simple employment or higher education, but a program for young people to find their own path and develop their dreams. 2023 Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program Recruitment Overview and Application Method
● Recruitment period: 2023. 5. 12. (Fri) ~ 5. 31. (Wed)

● Recruitment Target: Young people between the ages of 19 and 34 (born between 1988 and 2004) who have an address in Gyeonggi-do as of the announcement date.

● Recruitment number: 600 (1st period 300 people, 2nd period 300 people)

● Project details: Support for projects* planned by (domestic) young people, mentoring by sector, etc.

※ Project subsidy: Up to 5 million won per person for actual expenses

● Application Period: 2023. 5. 12. (Fri) ~ 5. 31. (Wed) 17:00 (You can apply 24 hours a day during the application period, and the deadline is only until 17:00)

● Qualifications: Young people between the ages of 19 and 34 who have a resident registration address in Gyeonggi-do as of the announcement date.

*Those born between 1988 and 2004 can apply as a team or individual (no limit on team members)

 

● Documents to be submitted: ① Application form (Form 1) ② Project plan (Form 2)

※ Check and consent online for resident registration and personal information collection and utilization

 

● Recipients of additional points: recipients of basic livelihood security, the next lowest class, children whose protection has ended (young people preparing for self-reliance)*

– Evidence of additional points: (Check Reference 2) Only those who pass the first document screening will be selected at a later date (separate information will be provided)

– Children whose protection has ended: Youth whose protection has ended after the age of 18 in child care facilities, community homes, and family foster care

● In the selection target, the selection is based on the value of attempt and the will to try.

● In the first document review, the application form and project plan are reviewed. In the second review, an in-depth interview is conducted on the contents of the first document.

● After selecting twice as many interviewees through the first document review, the applicants with the highest scores are selected according to the second interview review.

※ The evaluation score is calculated as the average of the total scores of the team members.

◎ Notes

– You must select a period from either the 1st or 2nd period. (Duplicate applications are not allowed.)

– If there is a discrepancy between the team leader and the team member’s application (number of students, project contents, etc.), the team leader’s submission will be regarded as the application.

– Be sure to check the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) before applying.

– Participants dispatched from a specific religion and those with a specific political orientation are excluded from selection.

– For all submitted documents, only documents issued after the announcement date are accepted.

– Submitted ideas or projects must be new, uncopied projects.

– In the course of the project, the legal responsibility for disputes arising from infringement of other people’s works rests with the participant.

– Submitted documents will not be returned, and if other irregularities are found or if the selection support fund is used for a different purpose, the selection will be cancelled, and the support fund will be withdrawn and other measures may be taken in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

– Intellectual property rights and copyrights for all outputs generated from participation in the project belong to Gyeonggi-do, and when participation is necessary for other purposes, Gyeonggi-do and participants must mutually consult.
