3) Click ‘Report’ to check the reporting process as shown below. Please click ‘OK’

Reporting procedure
As explained, reporting a cybercrime can only be done by the victim himself. If you are a family member or agent, you can visit the police station in person or use the People’s Sinmungo where you can report by proxy.

※Even if you report online, you must attend the police station in person. However, if you file a report first in the above method, it is recommended to use it as the number of reporting procedures required when visiting is significantly reduced. Processing period when reported to the Cyber Investigation Unit
When a report is submitted to the National Police Agency’s cybercrime unit, it usually takes 7 to 14 days for review and processing. You can be notified of the progress through the website, e-mail, text message, etc. If you want expedited processing, you can also go to the police station and file the complaint yourself.
