Now that the number of people vaccinated against the coronavirus is increasing around the world and the number of confirmed cases has reached its peak, the fear of the coronavirus pandemic seems to be gradually disappearing. In line with this, the tourism industry has become active again, and many countries have recently begun to resume visa-free tourism and expand travel flight routes. So, currently, in countries such as Japan and Thailand, where many Koreans visited as travel destinations even before the coronavirus, many restrictions have disappeared to the extent that they are almost similar to before the coronavirus. Of course, due to the threat of COVID-19, there are still processes such as having to submit a vaccination certificate after receiving the third dose of the vaccine, but the PCR testing and quarantine period measures that were obstacles to overseas travel have been completed or completely lifted. So, in the case of Japan, on October 11th, visa-free entry for foreigners was allowed and PCR tests were eliminated only for those who received the third vaccine, and flight reservations increased dozens of times, showing a complete return to pre-coronavirus normalization.
So then we should now prepare to travel abroad again, right? If there is anything that has changed in overseas travel after so much time has passed due to the coronavirus, I would like to pick ‘currency exchange’ first. In most cases of traveling to Japan, the trend was to exchange currency for physical currency such as bills and coins, but these days, it has become essential to bring physical currency + card exchange. So, in today’s text, I have prepared a method for issuing a Travel Wallet card as a recommendation for an overseas travel card. The Travel Wallet Card is a card that allows you to exchange money for the currency of your country for free with a currency exchange fee of 0 won and a local payment fee of 0 won. Considering that the preferential commission rate when exchanging real currency is usually up to 80-90%, I think it is an essential overseas card because you can exchange it for free and take it with you.

closing post
Recently, it has become possible to exchange and use foreign currency at a low cost through the issuance of a Trafple Wallet card with completely free fees. For reference, Travel Log is compared with the Travel Wallet card and is serviced by Hana Card. The pros and cons of the two cards are clear, but personally, I think it’s better to use Travellog if you use Hana Bank, and Travel Wallet if you use other banks. Now, we hope you can enjoy your overseas travel with the reasonable and cost-effective Travel Wallet Card.
