화성시 무상교통 카드This is a guide to applying for a free transportation card provided by Hwaseong City.
As a measure to reduce carbon emissions in the transportation sector, it is a policy to revitalize public transportation and allow Hwaseong citizens to use buses for free. It is an innovative transportation policy that major countries around the world are also implementing.
Children, adolescents, young adults (6 to 23 years old) and seniors (65 years old or older) residing in Hwaseong City are eligible and are based on resident registration.
A. General city/village buses within Hwaseong City (excluding seat, metropolitan, intercity, and airport buses)
※Based on boarding and disembarking stops, passage through other local governments (integrated metropolitan area, transfer discount integrated), fare support excluded ※ When boarding and disembarking, those who do not contact the dedicated card (untagged) at the bus terminal will not be paid.
B. Monthly settlement of transportation card costs used by the applicant, payment to the recipient’s account after verification

If personal Internet (mobile) is not available, apply for PC use in town/myeondong from October 5, 2020 (application assistants assigned)
A. If you apply falsely, such as by using someone else’s identity, you will be prosecuted under Article 231 of the Criminal Act. B. If you rent a transportation card to someone else or use it illegally, payment will be suspended and refunded.
C. No duplicate payments
※ Select only one of Hwaseong City’s free transportation fee and Gyeonggi-do youth transportation fee (duplicate applications are not allowed)
