강릉 애견동반 숙소Hello, this is Ju-ring~
Today, I’m going to introduce you to accommodations for dog lovers, not restaurants or cafes.
It was really hard to find out about dog-friendly restaurants, cafes, and accommodations when traveling with dogs..
We weren’t going to have a barbecue, so we didn’t need a pension, so we found this place while thinking about what we needed.
1. It shouldn’t be too expensive.
2. It should be possible to take a walk nearby without having to drive.
3. It shouldn’t smell like cigarettes and the bathroom should be clean.
We looked for these criteria.
I found this accommodation while searching blogs,
but it was still open, so they held an official opening event around September 16th when we visited!
It’s located right in front of Songjeong Beach, so it was nice to take a walk with your dog.
You can walk along the ocean, and you can also take a walk in the shade under the pine trees.
There are guesthouses in Myeong-en-Surf,
and there are dog-friendly ondol/bed rooms, and ondol rooms that are available without dogs.
We used the dog-friendly bed room, and we paid an additional 20,000 won for the 7kg mixed-breed dog.
The building itself is a bit old,
but it was good for a one-night stay because the bedding, bathroom, shampoo, body wash, soap, and toothpaste were provided.
The sink was outside separately.
I washed my hands often because of the dog leash snacks, so this was actually convenient.
The room was quite spacious compared to a hotel room, so the dog didn’t have to go back and forth too narrow.
Poop pads, food, and water bowls are provided as basic settings.
The only thing I regret about staying with my dog is that the bed is high,
and there is no slide or stairs connecting the bed and the floor, so I had to keep holding it when I put it on the bed. But the room was big, so we just laid out a blanket and lay on the floor together.
We were assigned to the 5th floor,
so we could see the pine trees and the ocean a little bit from the window.
I was tired of seeing the ocean so much… The pine tree view wasn’t bad compared to the ocean view and the city view!!
There’s a coffee bar half a floor down from the front desk as a convenience facility~

A swimming pool where you can go with your dog!
I think it would be great to go with a dog that likes water.
My dog doesn’t like water so we didn’t use it,
but it was equipped with everything you could wash and dry after swimming.
The facilities looked well-equipped^^
It seemed like a great place to stay with your dog.
Even if you don’t use the swimming pool, there’s a path right across from the accommodation where you can walk, which was nice. I was satisfied with the accommodation overall^^
This concludes my review of my one-night stay at Myungen Surf, which I paid for myself.
