The Construction Technology Education Institute is a non-profit public interest foundation established under the leadership of the government in 1978. It is responsible for the education and training of construction engineers. It is selected as an excellent/best training institution by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and the Vocational Competency Review and Assessment Service.
We provide various legal job training in accordance with the Construction Technology Promotion Act and its enforcement ordinance. We provide basic training, initial training, promotion, and continuing courses, and they are conducted both online and offline.

Course information
The training courses offered at the Construction Technology Education Center’s online training center are as follows.
1. Basic education
It is a required course that must be taken once, regardless of the job performed. This course is conducted to improve understanding of the knowledge, work ethics, and laws and systems related to safety and construction technology that must be possessed as a construction engineer.
Target: Construction engineers who want to perform construction technology work
Time: 35 hours or more
Period of completion: Before performing construction technology work for the first time
2. Initial training
This is a course that construction engineers who want to perform construction technology work for the first time must take. The completion time and completion period for each subject are as follows. After classifying the technician and entering the grade and job field, you can select a course that can be completed.
Design and construction construction technician (general education): Completion of more than 35 hours for those who are not affiliated with the ordering office / Before performing work such as design and construction for the first time
Design/construction construction engineer (belonging to the ordering office): Completion of more than 35 hours for those belonging to the ordering office / Before performing work for the first time as belonging to the ordering office
Construction project management construction engineer (formerly Supervisory Board): For beginner, intermediate, advanced, and special construction engineers. Completion of more than 70 hours for beginners and intermediates, and more than 105 hours for high and special grades. / Construction project management for the first time as a member of a construction technology service provider. Before performing work
Quality control construction engineer (formerly quality manager): For elementary, middle, high, and special level construction engineers, 35 hours or more / Before performing quality control work for the first time while belonging to a construction technology service business or business operator, etc.
3. Promotion training
This is a course you must take before being promoted to a higher level than your current level. You must receive this after completing basic and initial training, and if your current technical level is upgraded by two or more levels, you must complete the upgrade training corresponding to the highest technical level.
Design/construction construction engineer (formerly construction engineer): Elementary, middle, high, special / 35 hours or more
Construction project management construction engineer (formerly Supervisory Service): Beginner level 35 hours or more / Intermediate/advanced level 70 hours or more
Quality control construction engineer (formerly quality manager): Elementary, middle, high, express / 35 hours or more
4. Continuing education
This is training that must be received by those who have performed construction technology work for a certain period of time if they wish to continue performing the construction technology work. It must be completed once every three years, adding up the actual work performance days. However, if promotion training is completed during the performance period, the work performance period is calculated based on the completion date.
Design/construction construction engineer: For special construction engineers (on-site placement engineers, responsible engineers), 35 hours of completion are required / or special engineers who have acquired more than 90 credits according to the credit recognition standards notified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport are considered to have completed the course.
Construction project management construction engineer (general continuing education): Completion of more than 14 hours for beginners and intermediate levels, and more than 49 hours for advanced and special grades / Before completing every three years
Construction project management construction engineer (required continuing education): Completion of more than 7 hours for all grades / Before each year (Newly established in accordance with the revised ordinance of 24.1.6 / Required to complete 7 hours of group training every year)
Construction project management construction engineer (construction project management safety management continuing education): Completion of more than 16 hours for those who perform ‘safety management’ work among construction project management technicians / Before every 3 years.
Quality control construction technician: Completion of more than 35 hours for all grades / Before every 3 years

How to use
How to apply and take classes at the Construction Technology Education Center’s online education center is as follows.
※ Before registering for a course, you must check the following:

② Grade: Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced / Special
③ Job field: Civil engineering / Architecture / Machinery / City and transportation / Safety management / Landscaping / Environment / Electricity and Electronics / Mining / Construction support / Quality control
– Check the type of education not completed and required
Basic / Initial / Promotion / Continued
After accessing the Construction Technology Education Institute Online Education Center website, register and log in.
Proceed with applying for training. Select the course you want and apply for training. Search for courses by searching for technician classification, grade, job field, etc., select the applicable course, and click [Course Registration].
Enter the details of education and training completed accurately. (This is the part that appears on the certificate of completion, so you must enter it accurately.)
Select a distance education (or group course) schedule, check the courses, and pay the course fee. (Credit card, real-time account transfer, virtual account available)
(Distance education) You can take the course by clicking [My Classroom] → [Learning Status] → [Learning Window] → [Start Learning]. You can check the table of contents for each episode and press [Start] to listen. After writing the assignment in [Assignment Submission], submit it to the study window.
(Group education) You can check the schedule in [My Classroom] → [Learning Status]. You can visit the training center according to your schedule and take classes.
※ The group education schedule can be selected when registering for distance education.
※ There are three gathering locations: Incheon, Seoul (Gangnam), and Gangwon (Wonju). Information on entrance times and lecture halls will be sent via text message twice: 4 days before and 1 day before the training date.
