In the police officer recruitment exam, the physical fitness test evaluates five events for both men and women: 100m run, 1000m run, sit-ups, left and right grip strength, and push-ups.
Grading is based on the police physical strength table, and if you receive 1 point in more than one subject or your total score is 19 points or less, you will be disqualified.
The police civil servant recruitment test is decided in the order of highest scores by adding up 50% of the written test, 25% of the physical test, and 25% of the interview test (including 5% of the certificate).
▣ Decision on successful candidates for interview test
The scores evaluated by each interview committee member are added together to determine a successful candidate if the majority of the interview committee members score 40% or more of the total score. If the majority of the interview committee members evaluate any one evaluation element with 2 points or less, the applicant will be disqualified.
The application age for general police officers is limited to those between 18 and 40 years old, and executive candidates can apply from 21 years old and older. (Application age for executive candidates: 21 to 40 years old)
To apply for a police officer position, you must have a valid Class 1 regular (manual/automatic transmission limited) license for driving a patrol car.

For the 100-meter run, the measured values are rounded to the second decimal place, for the 1,000-meter run, the first decimal place is rounded off, and for left and right grip strength, the values are rounded to the first decimal place.
The physical examination is based on physique, vision, color vision, hearing, blood pressure, cross-eye, and tattoos.
Visual acuity (including corrected visual acuity) must be 0.8 or higher in both eyes, and hearing is acceptable only if hearing is normal (able to hear sounds below 40 decibels (dB) on each side).
The hiring process is conducted in the following order: written/practical test >> physical test >> physical strength/aptitude test >> interview.
