1. When you access the Kukkiwon homepage, you will be connected to the Taekwondo online platform Ticon. There are Korean and English languages, so please select the language you want.
2. When you enter the Ticon main page, you must go to the membership registration section at the top of the screen and sign up for membership.
3. Click Agree to all terms and conditions and click the Next button to proceed.
4. Set your ID and password, receive mobile phone authentication, and click Confirm.
5. After entering additional information, membership registration is complete, and when you log in, you will be taken to the main screen.

After completing membership registration, you can search for and reissue a Kukkiwon certificate by logging in to the Kukkiwon website. After logging in, go to My Page at the top of the page to check your Kukkiwon certificate number and qualification acquisition status at a glance.

Issuance service
The Kukkiwon website provides issuance services related to certificates. If you go to ‘Issuance service’ at the top of the Ticon screen, you can issue a certificate for conversion to a certificate, apply for a physical certificate, or apply for a real-time issuance.
Conversion to a certificate (1st to 3rd grade ▶ 1st to 3rd grade)
Certificates are issued together with a large and small certificate, and the sizes and fees are as follows.
Proof: B4 size paper certificate
Proof: ID card size card certificate
Fee: 12,000 won
※ Those who have received 4-stage conversion training must confirm that they have been converted to 4-stage in My Page – Qualification Information and then apply for issuance of the actual certificate and real-time issuance.
※ In case of name change, correction of resident registration number, and correction of Korean name, you must apply for correction and use the service.
4-stage conversion
You can apply for 4-stage conversion after taking the conversion training at the World Taekwondo Training Center. Only those who are 18 years of age or older, have been training at a Taekwondo gym for more than 3 months, and have obtained approval from the director of a Taekwondo gym that is a member of the Korea Taekwondo Federation can apply. Conversion training is conducted according to the following procedures.

When applying for issuance of physical certificate, both the certificate and the sub-certificate are issued, and the certificate sizes and fees are as follows.
Pum Dan Certificate: B4 size paper certificate
Sub-certificate: ID card size card certificate
Fees: 6,000 won each
Confirmation
You can receive a Pum Dan registration confirmation, military certificate, and qualification certificate, and the forms and fees for each confirmation are as follows. Confirmations can be issued in physical form or in real time (online).
Pum Dan Registration Confirmation: This is a confirmation that allows you to check the final Pum Dan certificate content including the dan number and issuance date.
Military Certificate: You can check the entire Pum Dan certificate content including the dan number, issuance date, and promotion region. Certificate of qualification: You can check the information about obtaining a teacher’s qualification, promotion team judge, and Hanmadang judge, including the qualification number and issuance date.
Issuance type: A4 paper size

You can receive a Taekwondo instructor’s qualification, an international Taekwondo promotion team judge’s qualification, a World Taekwondo Hanmadang judge’s qualification, a Taekwondo self-defense instructor’s qualification, and a Taekwondo instructor’s qualification for the disabled.

Application for correction due to name change
If you have changed your name and it is different from your previous certificate, you can change it by applying for correction of personal information on the Kukkiwon website.
You can do this through the Personal Information Correction Application menu at the top of the website after logging in. Let’s find out the procedure.
Membership registration: Register as a member with your current name and resident registration number.
Request for correction of personal information: Submit documents such as a copy of the resident registration or transcript.
