Children’s Rights Welfare Integrated Service_Cyber Education Center
The Child Rights Guarantee Agency is a public institution under the Ministry of Health and Welfare. It was established to contribute to improving the quality of life of children by guaranteeing children’s rights by carrying out children’s policy and child welfare-related projects. Main projects include data development and policy analysis for establishing children’s policies, support for establishing basic plans and evaluation of implementation plans, technical and operational support, related research, and education.
The Children’s Rights Protection Agency’s Child Welfare Integrated Service Cyber Education Center is a separate site operated for education. We provide job training for child welfare workers at local children’s centers, child protection agencies, and foster care support centers. You can take pre-education and job training for children’s policy impact assessment self-assessment, and legally mandated child abuse prevention training. ㅇ Preliminary training on self-assessment of children’s policy impact assessment
What is a self-assessment of children’s policy impact assessment?
– This is an evaluation system in which local governments use self-evaluation reports to inspect projects, plans, and laws directly or indirectly related to children. It is a system that self-evaluates children’s rights and the impact (positive/negative) on children’s rights, and is a systematic process that supports the establishment of appropriate policies from the child’s perspective.
What is self-assessment prior training?
– This is a required training course conducted before the self-assessment of the Children’s Policy Impact Assessment is implemented, and is conducted to promote work capabilities by improving business understanding and cultivating basic knowledge of children’s rights.
Target: Public officials from 17 cities/provinces and cities/counties/districts nationwide – Personnel in charge of child policy impact assessment departments and business departments, general public officials, etc.

ㅇ Legally mandatory education to prevent child abuse
Overview: We provide training for those required to report child abuse and child abuse prevention training in the public sector in accordance with the Child Welfare Act.
purpose
① Training for those required to report child abuse: Reporting obligations are assigned to those in positions who are likely to be aware of child abuse crimes in the course of their duties.
② Child abuse prevention education in the public sector: Encourage public sector workers with public interests to develop basic knowledge on prevention.
Target
① Persons obligated to report child abuse: Workers in 26 occupations specified in the [Special Act on Punishment, etc. of Child Abuse Crimes] (medical personnel, teachers, facility workers, public officials, etc.)
② Prevention of child abuse in the public sector: Employees of national agencies, local governments, public institutions specified in the [Child Welfare Act], public organizations specified by Presidential Decree, etc.
Contents: Major cases of child abuse, including laws on child abuse prevention and reporting obligations, reporting methods when child abuse is discovered, procedures for protecting child victims, etc.
How to complete: The head of the relevant institution or facility provides at least one hour of training to its employees every year. You can take the course online or through group audio-visual (using videos provided by the Ministry of Health and Welfare) or group training (instructor).
