Click [Settings] in the Windows Start menu to run it.

Select the Update & Recovery menu at the bottom of the Settings menu.

– Keep my files: Initializes only the Windows system while maintaining personal files.
– Remove all items: Cleanly delete all files on the drive where Windows is installed and then install. (suggestion)
Here, in order to do a clean reset, we will proceed by selecting the [Remove All Items] menu.
① If there is only one drive (C:\)
→ Go directly to screen 6).
② If there are multiple drives (C:\, D:\, etc.)
→ A menu will appear where you can select the drive to initialize as shown below.
– [Windows installation drive only]: Only the drive on which Windows is installed is formatted and initialized.
– [All drives]: All drives are formatted and initialized.
Here, we will select the [Windows installation drive only] menu to initialize only the C:\ drive where Windows is installed. In this case, the other drive (D:\) will not be initialized and will remain as is.
– Remove only my files: This can save time, but is not recommended.
– File removal and drive cleanup: It may take a long time, but you can reset it cleanly. (suggestion)
Here, select [Remove files and clean drive] to perform a clean initialization.
Click the [Initialize] button to perform initialization.
After formatting and initializing, Windows 10 will be reinstalled.
