◎ What is the 2024 Youth Monthly Rent Subsidy? ↓↓

This is a youth housing welfare project implemented by the Seoul Metropolitan Government to alleviate the burden of housing costs and create a stable residential environment, providing monthly rent of 200,000 won per month for up to 12 months to single-person households of young people who do not own a home between the ages of 19 and 39 living in Seoul. This is a project that provides support for a long period of time.

The selection is divided into four categories based on criteria such as rental deposit, monthly rent, and income, and a total of 3,500 people are selected.

Applications for the Youth Rent Subsidy are made every September, and applications can be made online at the Seoul Housing Portal.

Detailed project information, application qualifications, and required documents can be found on the Youth Rent Support page of the Seoul Housing Portal.

The Youth Rent Subsidy is a support project of the Seoul Metropolitan Government that is operated separately from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s Youth Rent Special Support, so you can apply for both projects, but please note that you cannot receive subsidies from both projects at the same time.
