As it is meant to be, it is the most beautiful place, especially during sunrise time. It is a place visited by many tourists not only during sunrise but also during the day.

 

 

In spring, when rape flowers bloom, you can see a field of rape flowers in full bloom from the entrance to the plaza. Even if you don’t go to Jeju Island, you can take a photo in the yellow rape flower field.

2. Homi Peninsula Coastal Trail

The second place worth visiting in Pohang is the Homi Peninsula Coastal Trail, a walking path along the coast. This is a trekking course that extends eastward along Yeongil Bay, and is a place where you can listen to the cool sound of waves while walking along the trail. 3. Hwanhwa Park Space Walk

The third place to visit in Pohang is Space Walk. Just by looking at the photo, it looks like a roller coaster road, but it is a road that people can walk on. Space Walk is an experiential sculpture measuring 333m in length, 27m in height, 50m in width, and 25m in height. It’s like visiting an amusement park, and it was named so because it makes you feel like you’re walking through space.

Pohang Canal is called the Venice of Korea and is one of the 12 best whaling sites. It refers to a waterway of approximately 1.3km where the waters of Hyeongsan River and Yeongil Bay meet. A small cruise ship called Pohang Cruise operates on the Pohang Canal. We operate a paved sea course that includes Songdo Beach and a course that passes through Jukdo Market and returns to Dongbinnae Port.

Cheongha 5-day Market is known as the filming location for the drama Seaside Village Cha Cha Cha. The drama was so loved that many tourists visiting Pohang visit this place even after the drama ended. This is a place where you can see Gongjin Market, supermarkets, hardware stores, Chinese restaurants, cafes, etc. that appear in the drama. In the drama, Banjang Hong guides you to a place with a beautiful view. It was a place characterized by a boat floating on a mountain, and that place was Sabang Memorial Park. It is used as a joint tourist attraction along with Cheongha 5-day Market and Yoon Dental Clinic, so if you are a fan of dramas, be sure to visit.

11. Railroad Forest

The last place to visit in Pohang is the Railroad Forest, a healing space in the city. The 4.3km section between Hyoja Station and the old Pohang Station was created as an urban forest after being disused as a railroad, making it a great place for a walk. Because it is located in the city center, it is used more by residents than tourists.

 

There is also a fire garden in the Railroad Forest that continues to burn to this day due to natural gas emissions. This is a place where natural gas is emitted during the process of creating a forest, causing a natural fire.
