After overcoming the inevitable Monday sickness of office workers, a lively Tuesday has begun!
Today, I was thinking about what IT information I could give you that would be helpful, and I’m going to find out how to set it up when I need to print from multiple computers, such as in a work office or PC room, to a single printer.
To use one printer with multiple computers, there is a way to share the printer.
Even if you only have one printer, setting up printer sharing and installing the shared printer on each computer will solve the problem.
Our office has many computers, but we share two printers.
To connect a shared printer, you must first set up printer sharing on the computer to which the printer is directly connected. Computer connected serially to the printer > Devices and printers > Properties of the printer to be shared > Share in the tab menu > Check the Share this printer check box! check!
If this is set up, you can now connect and use the shared printer from a nearby computer.
Go to [Devices and Printers] and right-click on an empty space to find a menu called [Add Printer]. Please press.
Add a printer – select the type of printer you want to install
– Add local printer
Select this option only if you are not using a USB printer. The USB printer is automatically installed when connected.
– Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer
Make sure your computer is connected to the network and your Bluetooth or wireless printer is turned on.
To connect a shared printer among the two menus, click Add a second network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer.
Then, available network printers will be automatically searched, find and select the printer shared above, and then click Next.
When connected properly, the printer model name as shown in the image was added. You will see the phrase.
Click Next and Print Test Page to check whether the test page you printed from the printer comes out correctly.
If you go back to Devices and Printers, you will see that a shared printer driver is connected that wasn’t there before.
If the test page printout went well, you can now print out a lot of printouts using the shared printer, right?
