When domestic delivery tracking is not possible on AliExpress, there is no news about my package?!
Last time, I introduced how to track domestic delivery of products purchased from AliExpress. There will often be products that cannot be tracked using this method. This was my first time experiencing it recently, so I was confused and wondered where I had gone missing, but I found out the reason later. I’m sharing this in case there are people going through something similar!
Sellers on AliExpress use different shipping methods. Because there are so many different paths, it would be impossible to introduce them all here, but I will introduce the cases I experienced.
1. Domestic mail: 13-digit tracking number starting with 6
In this case, it is an item that can be viewed using the method introduced in the last post. You can search for the tracking number on the Post Office courier website using the tracking number that can be found in the Ali Express order list.

2. International registration
Some sellers often ship their items by registered international mail if they do not have a tracking number other than the format above. If this applies to you, please check the delivery using the tracking number on the site below. The first is international mail delivery tracking by the post office courier.

If you can’t look it up on the site above, try looking it up on a site called 17track. It is said that shipments sent through the post office can also be tracked here! This is a site where you can check the status of various overseas logistics. It seems more convenient because you can enter and check multiple tracking numbers at once.

3. Regular postal delivery
If you have used all of the above methods and still get no results, it is likely that the item is coming via regular mail. In this case, the arrival speed was slow and it was impossible to check where I was passing after arriving in the country. Items sent this way will be delivered to your mailbox by a postman. So, I think it’s time for the product to arrive… If you want, check carefully to see if there’s anything like small bubble wrap in your mailbox!!
This is how the product arrived with a tracking number with N+13 digits. This is how the delivery method of ‘AliExpress Saver Shipping’ was selected. As a result of my research, AliExpress Saver Shipping was a delivery method that did not provide tracking or arrival notification like a regular letter. Small items (mine was jewelry) are usually sent this way, but since there are no other security measures and tracking is impossible, there seems to be a risk of loss or theft. I should be able to get it out of the mailbox on time. If you are worried about an item that must arrive properly, you may have to pay more for shipping and choose a different shipping option.
In addition, there seem to be various shipping methods and tracking number formats, but in general, tracking seems to be possible using the above methods. If that’s not possible, you’ll have to be patient, assuming it’s coming by mail… and if you’ve chosen a trackable package delivery method but there’s no status update, you may need to inquire with the seller or Ali.
