If you applied for the National Tomorrow Learning Card and received the physical card, you have completed the preparation process to receive government-funded education.
The National Tomorrow Learning Card is a card that supports educational expenses. You might think that it would be available at all educational centers, but in fact, that is not the case.
This is only possible at training centers registered with HRD-net (vocational training portal site). You can check the educational institution that operates the training by searching for the desired training name/education center/starting date, etc. in the search box of the HRD job training portal site. Since the National Tomorrow Learning Card was issued by the employment center in charge of your address, you may think that you have to go to the area around your address to receive government-funded education, but that is not the case!
You can use the National Tomorrow Learning Card anywhere in the country where you can learn. So, wouldn’t it be great if you could commute to school using public transportation?
However, if you are at an educational center that has difficulty commuting to school by public transportation, you may have to worry about it at least once. If so, it would be a good idea to check whether the training center you plan to attend provides dormitory/accommodation. In the case of Korea Vocational Competency Education Institute, the Siheung Campus provides dormitories and the Ansan Campus provides accommodations.
The dormitory consists of 4 people per room, and each room is equipped with a toilet, shower, air conditioner, bed, and personal closet. There is also a laundry room and kitchen facilities for preparing simple meals. There is also a restaurant on the 9th floor where you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It would be better to see it in person rather than write about it, right?
