국민연금 반환일시금■ What is the national pension lump sum refund?
Even after reaching the age of 60, if you can no longer maintain your status as a national pension subscriber due to death, loss of nationality, or emigration, and do not meet the pension eligibility requirements, a lump sum payment is made with interest added to the premiums you have paid.
■ Conditions for applying for lump sum refund
– When a person whose subscription period is less than 10 years turns 60
– If you move abroad or lose your nationality
– In case of death
※In this case, you may not receive a lump sum refund!
– If you re-engage in gainful work before the age of 60
– When staying abroad for employment, study, or other reasons
*In addition, you cannot receive a lump sum refund for reasons such as difficult circumstances or resignation from the company!
■ How to apply for a lump sum refund
– Mail/fax/telephone: Submit required documents
*Fax sending is possible if the amount received is 2 million won or less.
– Offline: Visit the National Pension Service branch
– Online: Access the electronic civil service service on the National Pension Service website
※ Please also remember the ‘lump sum return system’!
This is a system that restores the subscription period if a person who re-acquires subscriber status after receiving a refunded lump sum returns the previously received refunded lump sum with a certain amount of interest added. However, you can only apply for a lump sum return if you are enrolled in the National Pension Service.
