⦿Information on the standard time for Socar fee application (based on rental start time)
-Weekdays: Sunday 19:00 ~ Friday 19:00 (Late night: 02:00 ~ 06:00)
-Weekends: Friday 19:00 ~ Friday 19:00 (including public holidays and peak seasons designated by our company)
⦿Information on special information on Socar rate plans
-Available for rental from a minimum of 30 minutes to 10-minute increments.
-Rental rates are operated on a flexible rate system depending on conditions such as vehicle type, region/Soca zone, day/time, and peak/off-peak season, so they may vary depending on reservation conditions. (It is best to check through the app.)
-Driving fees are charged based on the actual mileage when returning the vehicle, and a separate driving fee per km is applied depending on the mileage section.
-Rental fees and driving fees may change depending on our internal policies/fluctuations in oil prices.
– When using additional services such as calling, a separate fee will be charged taking into account the cost of returning the vehicle.
-Extension fees are applied separately from the rental fee.
⦿Socar service fee
1. Payment before boarding
– Rental fee: This is the fee for renting a vehicle per hour.
– Insurance premium: You can select the maximum deductible in the event of an accident, and the insurance premium will vary accordingly (see below).
2. Payment upon return
-Driving distance: A driving fee is charged per km depending on the distance driven. (When using Hi-Pass, the driving fee is combined with the driving fee.)
⦿Socar Insurance
1. Customer responsibility
-Repair costs: Depending on the insurance premium selected at the time of rental, only the amount less than the deductible is paid.
2. Soca burden
– Adults (unlimited): Passengers, pedestrians, driver of the other vehicle, hospital expenses
– Property (limited to 100 million won): Repair costs for the other party’s vehicle, damage to property such as trees/electric poles
– Offspring (limited to 15 million won): Driver’s hospital expenses

How to use Socar
1. Download the Socar app.
-Android: Play Store / iOS: Search for ‘SoCar’ in the App Store and download it.
2. Register your car driver’s license and payment card.
-SoCar is available to those over 21 years old and who have had their driver’s license for at least 1 year. Please note this.
3. Set the usage time, select the location where you need the vehicle, and the type of vehicle you want.
-You can make a reservation at Soca Zone or call Soca in front of your house.
4. Check the detailed information of the Soca Zone where the vehicle is parked.
-You can find Socar more easily by turning on the emergency lights or honking the horn with the smart key within the Socar app.
5. Check the vehicle’s condition, including exterior, interior, and oil level, before boarding.
-We recommend that you take video of the entire vehicle slowly.
6. After use, park the vehicle in the designated location.
-After locking the car door, press the return button to complete use. We recommend that you check carefully to make sure nothing has been left behind before returning.
