To perform a system restore, follow these steps:
Click Start, then type Control Panel.
Search for Recovery in Control Panel.
Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
Select the restore point associated with the problematic app, driver, or update, then select Next > Finish.
Windows 10 can reset all your computer files without affecting your personal data. Recovery does the following:
To begin resetting your computer files, follow these steps:
Click Start, then type “reset”.
Select Reset this PC (System Settings).
Under Reset this PC, select Start.
Select the Keep my files option.
After completing the refresh, you will need to reinstall the app or driver.

To reset your computer to a clean version of Windows 10 and remove all files, follow these steps:
Some Dell tablets may be configured to add factory-installed software from Dell during this process.
Click Start, then type reset.
Select Reset this PC (System Settings).
Under Reset this PC, select Start.
Select the Remove everything option.
If you plan to keep this computer, select Just remove my files. If you are recycling your computer, select Remove files and clean drive.

To reset your computer to a Dell factory image, including the apps and software that came preinstalled from the factory from Dell, follow these steps:
Click Start, then type reset.
Select Reset this PC (System Settings).
Under Advanced startup options, select Restart now.
On the Select Options screen, select Troubleshoot.
Select Restore Factory Image.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset process. This will take some time and your computer will restart when complete.
After the third boot attempt, the computer automatically enters Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). Follow these steps to restore your operating system.
On the Select Options screen, select Troubleshoot.
On the Troubleshooting screen, select Factory Image Restore.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset process. This will take some time and your computer will restart when complete.
Insert the recovery media into a USB port or DVD drive, depending on the format you used to create it.
Turn off your computer.
Turn on your computer. At the Dell logo screen, press the F12 key several times until the Preparing one time boot menu appears in the upper-right corner of the screen.
In the boot menu, under UEFI BOOT, select the device that matches the type of media you use (USB or DVD).
Select your keyboard language.
On the Select Options screen, select Troubleshoot.
Select Recover from Drive.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset process. This will take some time and your computer will restart when complete.
