카카오톡 친구삭제※Note Deletion and blocking are different. Delete is to remove a friend from your friends list. If you delete them, you won’t be added as a friend, but you will still be able to receive messages. Blocking is moving a friend from your friend list to the block list. You will not be added as a friend and will not be able to receive messages.
1. Open the KakaoTalk app and find the friend you want to delete. When you find it, touch and hold the friend.
2. Select [Hide] from the menu that opens.
※Note When you use the hide friends function for the first time, the following notification message appears. Select either [Do not show again] or [Confirm].
3. When you have finished hiding friends, touch the gear-shaped [Settings] icon in the upper right corner.
4. Select [Manage Friends] from the menu that opens.
5. Select [Manage hidden friends] from the Friends menu that opens.
6. In the hidden friends list, touch [Manage] to the right of the friend you just hidden.
7. If you select [Delete] in the menu that opens, the corresponding friend will be completely deleted from KakaoTalk.
※Note As mentioned above, deleted friends are deleted from the friend list and cannot be added as friends again. Messages can be received. Of course, if the other person’s number remains in your contacts, you will be added as a friend again.
